Overview
This itinerary include arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to a hotel in Moshi, a 7-day Kilimanjaro climb through the Machame route, 5 days of wildlife safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and finally departure.
Itinerary
Wake up early in the morning and get in the jeep ready to go to the Machame Gate where you will begin your trek. In the lower down, Machame route is muddy and slippery, therefore we advise you to use gaiters and trekking poles to overcome this problem. Walk through the rainforest while viewing the stunning scenery on the trail.

After breakfast, walk through the rainforest into a valley. The route passes through a river ridge that you will walk through until you arrive at Shira Camp.

• Distance: 5 km
• Hiking time: 4-5 hours
• Habitat: Moorland
This is your acclimatizing day. You continue the hike to the east through a ridge crossing the junction towards the peak of Kibo. As you walk, you are now heading to the southeast towards the Lava Tower (Shark Tooth) at 15,250ft. Soon after passing the Lava Tower, you will come across with the second junction that goes to the Arrow Glacier. You continue down to the Barranco Camp at 13,000ft (almost the same elevation).

After breakfast, you walk through the semi-desert into an alpine desert. You will leave Barranco and continue to walk on a steep ridge past the Barranco Wall to the Karanga Valley campsite.

After breakfast, you will hike from Karanga Camp passing the junction that joins with the Mweka Trail and you will continue hiking until you reach Barafu Hut. Congrats on finishing the Southern Circuit and enjoy the views of summit of Mount Kilimanjaro at different angles. You will camp here, dine, and sleep overnight in preparations for the summit attempt.

• Distance: 4 km.

• Habitat: Alpine Desert
Your mountain guide will woke you up early in the morning to start your hike to the summit and you will pass through the Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. The hike becomes as challenging as you head to the Stella Point (18,600 ft.). You will ascend past the snow heading to the Uhuru Peak and if you are faster, you will witness sunrise at the summit. Congratulations! You are now standing on Africa’s highest peak, embrace that feeling and take some pictures while you are at this point before we start to descend down. Descend down, have lunch at Barafu Camp and then proceed to Mweka Camp for a dinner and overnight sleep after a challenging hike.

After breakfast at Mweka Camp, continue your walk downhill to Mweka Gate where you will be awarded certificates for your achievement of reaching the highest peak in Africa. Our safari driver will be waiting for you at Mweka Gate to congratulate you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. There you will enjoy and celebrate your summit success while relaxing your body, preparing yourself for the next adventure to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater.

Wake up and have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha. Our safari guide will take you to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire National Park is characterized by hosting large herds of elephants, old baobab trees, and abundant wildlife. You will drive through the wilderness while viewing wild animals such as giraffes, buffalos, elephants, zebras, and wildebeests gathering at Tarangire River. You will also view some iconic bird species along the riverine forests of Tarangire. You will return to your accommodation for a dinner and breakfast.
After breakfast, we will now begin driving to Karatu en route to Serengeti National Park. Upon arriving at Serengeti, we will have lunch, rest a little bit and go for an afternoon game drive. We will drive through the kopjes of Central Serengeti while encountering many games such as leopards, lions, cheetahs, antelopes and plain game. We will return to the camp/lodge for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we take you to the savannah plains of the southern Serengeti and Ndutu area. Here we will encounter many resident grazers, which are closely followed by predators. The wildebeest migration begins here with a half million calves being born. We will further drive to the Seronera Valley for more encounters of wildlife along the Seronera River with lunch box on the way. We will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
You wake up and take a bath and get your breakfast on table. After breakfast, our safari driver will set up for a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. The morning is grinning with stunning views of birds, animals and vegetation as you drive to this epic caldera. You will see some stunning wild animals that reside this intact caldera. We aim to view the Big Five as we drive through this wonderful feature. We will drive back through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we drive back to Arusha. You can finish your day by doing some optional activities such as cultural tours to Maasai villages like Mto wa Mbu, coffee tour, a visit to Materuni waterfalls, and a visit to Kikuletwa hot springs. You can also relax in your hotel relaxing your body by soaking up in a swimming pool, partying, and massaging.

WEIGHT AND PORTERS
Clients are required to have a maximum of 15kg in their duffel bags. Due to the large increase in operational costs as a result of excess weight of clients’ luggage, we’ve had to resort to the following measures:
