Cultural tourism safari offers not only various opportunities to interact with local people of different cultures but also visiting important historical sites of Tanzania. You will have a chance to experience wildlife species on your game drive in Tarangire national park and Ngorongoro crater.
Itinerary
After your arrival, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide who will then drive you to your hotel in Arusha city. Then after having dinner, you will get brief information about your safari from our guide. Finally, you will have your rest after a long journey from your home land.

In the morning we will have our breakfast and start our journey to Tarangire national park. 4 hours on our way to Tarangire will be enough for us to see the locals doing their activities. After reaching to Tarangire we will have a lunch and prepare to start our game drive in the park. we will encounter many wildlife species especially the elephants and many bird species. Finally, we will go to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

After having breakfast, you will prepare yourself for cultural safari in Lake Eyasi where we will meet Datoga, Tindiga and Hadza people.the lake is located in Karatu district and it is said to be the largest body of water in Arusha region. The lake may dry up almost entirely during the dry season so that the Datoga and hadza people may cross the lake by foot. Also it may flood to its banks in rainy season to attract hippos from Serengeti. Moreover, you will witness the unique traditions of people that surrounds the lake Eyasi and their daily activities. Engaging with local guides will make you have a richer experience of safari there. Then we will return to our camps for having dinner and an overnight.

Soon after having our breakfast we will start our journey to Ngorongoro crater. This is the main feature of the Ngorongoro conservation area. The crater is a home for many species of wildlife animals including the famous big five animals. Just keep your eyes out for a stunning landscape and a n array of bird species that are found in the blessed crater of Ngorongoro. In fact, the crater is known for its combinations of wildlife making it easy to encounter many species of birds and animals in a short time. A game drive in Ngorongoro crater guarantees a memorable safari experience.

Olduvai Gorge is among the most important places in the world that hosts the full history of the evolution of man. In the gorge you will explore the rich archeological significance. The place is well-known for its early human fossils discoveries of which you will be able to see them. also you will see the moving sand in Olduvai Gorge. The sand is identified as the volcanic sand dunes known as the shifting or the moving sand. It is one of the spectacular moving sand in the world that is slowly blown across the plains. The sand moves at the rate of 15 to 29 meters per year. The sand particles are held together by the highly magnetic volcanic ash and this is why the granules of the dunes cannot be blown separately by the wind.
Also in this day you will have time to meet the Maasai community in Olduvai and gaining insights to their wonderful traditional lifestyle, their culture and heritage. After all, you will get back to your resting place for dinner and an overnight.

In this day we will begin our journey to Maasai Bomas that are located at Karatu district soon after taking our breakfast in our hotel. This full day safari in Maasai Bomas promises an amazing experience into Maasai cultures and the entire lifestyle there. Maasai people are very kind and welcoming. Therefore, you can also participate in traditional activities and interact with Maasai community and learn a lot from their entire lifestyle. One most attractive event for many visitors into Maasai community is the dancing style. During dancing they used to jump high while sings beautiful songs associating with attractive smile on their face. It is very interesting to be one of the Maasai community. You will have enough time to learn about Maasai customs and cultures. Finally, you will get a chance to share their delicious meal and stories before going back to your hotel camps for rest.

In the morning you will have your breakfast and make preparations for going back to Arusha. On your way to Arusha you will still see the magnificent view of Arusha region. Then you will go direct to Arusha heritage center where you will discover different traditional art and crafts such as books, clothing, artifacts, gemstones and carvings. At this place, all past and present of all tribes in Tanzania can be seen.
And finally you will be guided to Arusha town to experience the local vibes, markets and different historical landmarks. Arusha has its unique charm and heritage hence many visitors love to round off their journey in there. After all you will spend the rest of your day and your dinner in your hotel and an overnight. However, you can ask for an optional safari from our guide if you want.
