Overview
On this 9-day safari itinerary, you will witness the wildebeest migration in a very good way. You will also see some of the highlights of the northern circuit including Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Crater.
Itinerary
Ounce you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our driver guide will welcome you and drive you to your hotel in Arusha. Briefing about your safari will be done at the hotel and after that you have dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will set for a drive from Arusha to Serengeti. This drive is full of scenic views as you ride past green vegetation, villages, and plantations. After about 5 hours of drive, you will reach this alluring park and have lunch and after that, you will go for an evening game drive.
You will wake up and make yourself ready for a drive. After breakfast, we will have a full-day game drive through the plains of Lobo area where the wildebeest migration is (between July and August). We will watch the large herds of wildebeest roaming free in the savannah plains.
On this day, we will drive further to the north of Serengeti (Kogatende area), where we are aiming for spectacular Mara River crossings. You will encounter many games on this drive. You will spend a full-day drive from central Serengeti to the north of Serengeti for guaranteed encounters of migrating wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle.
After breakfast, we will drive to Wagakuria area to see some resident animals as well as the migrating animals. We will also witness some iconic wildebeest herds crossing the Mara River while driving along the riverine forests.
After breakfast at your camp in Serengeti, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day drive.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s biggest intact caldera on earth. It has a depth of 600 meters high, a diameter of 20 kilometers, and an area of about 300 square kilometers. This wonderful spectacle is home to over 30,000 large animals, which live in its crater floor getting nearly everything from it. They are therefore non-migratory.
On this day, you will have a full day at Lake Manyara National Park, which is one of the mysterious destinations in the northern circuit. This park is home to many wild animals such as giraffes, lions, and buffalos. Lake Manyara is also densely populated by pink flamingos on its shallow shores.

A drive to Arusha, which is filled with sensational views on the way will be next after breakfast. You can ask for some optional activities that our guide will be happy to help. You will spend the remainder of the day relaxing in your hotel before a dinner and overnight.
