What is unique about Arusha National Park?

Why there is no lion in Arusha National Park?

Lions are not found in Arusha National Park due to its relatively small size and the presence of dense vegetation, which is not suitable habitat for lions. However, there’s a presence of several other Arusha National Park Animals such as leopards and hyenas.

The ecology of Arusha National Park is characterized by diverse habitats, including montane forests, grasslands, swamps, and volcanic landscapes. It is home to a variety of Tanzania Wildlife species, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species.
